I think this luggage rack is good looking and high quality. It is a great grab-bar.

My Lady(passenger) loves it, she says it is worth twice the money. And she paid for it !!!

Before we got this, she felt like she was going to fall off. I wondered why the bike felt unstable, guess she was trying to hold on ....
It is a good, strong rack. Just keep an eye on the chrome. They tend to start rusting at the welds if you don't keep them polished up well.

I have one on my bike, and got the correct Givi rack for my Bonneville as well. The chrome on that one was very shoddy, and I had to exchange it for a replacement.

They're designed to carry a heavy Givi box, so they're very well built.
mice arrived today and I took a quick try to install before bailing for now. I know it should be tight but it seems like I may have rubber mallet it a few times to get it on. The install instructions are just about non-existent. Is mine a we bit too small or is it a chore to get it in place? Any tips?

Thanks,
Mine went on tight, but without having to mash it into place. Thinking about the Givi rack on my Bonneville, the first one I received needed some muscle coaxing to get all of the holes to line up, while the replacement (better chrome) went on without any effort. So, they might be a wee different from rack to rack. If it's tight, try stretching the long arms that fit to the attachment points with a little muscle and see if you can open it up a little so it slides on. Good luck!
got it on. took some wiggling and ingenuity but it's there now
