Gave up on the fairing and decided to finish up most of the work on the rear fender/taillight. The fender was completely shaved, smoothed, the sides were brought down 1 inch in the center then blended out and the taillight is completely hand made except the actual taillight housing. The taillight housing is an NOS piece for a 1981 CB750K I had in my stash. The main taillight bracket was designed to look like the bracket for the 81 750K,everything is in primer, now onto the front fender. [Image: 7148b150de577af03deb1e0387ef9a54.jpg]

Definitely different! Reminds me of an FXD superglide. Can't wait to see it done

While a SuperGlide is one of my favorite bikes that's not the direction here, the look of my old 750K is what I'm after.
Wow, that's great work. For the rear fender, did you modify the stock piece, or work with another fender to make it fit the CB? Can you do a closer shot of the line of the rear fender around the rear wheel?

That is a stock fender that has been completely reworked,I'll get a few pictures later today.
Jeez FLYTYM, now you need a straight exhaust pipe. Smile

Seriously though, the resultant look might be profound.
Did you lower the back of the bike? Shorter shocks? Or is it just the fender that is giving the super low look?
Yea for some reason it does look like it's sitting more like a harley.

Looks lower in the rear end/seat than the tank and front of the bike.

I like it

Grandma Wells liked it. My plans for a pipe are hollowed out cat, polish the stock header pipes then make a slip on to make it look like the Kerker header on my old 750.
