I see that this is an old thread but maybe someone is still watching.
I have a 2014 CB1100 but wanting to put a 2017 CB1100EX gas tank on it for the larger volume. I know the fuel pump plug for a 13 is 3pins and the 14 is 4pins. Does anyone know how many pins the 17 uses? Is it the same plug as the 14?

I put a 2014 tank on my 2017 and as I remember from a couple years ago, it is the same 4 pin connector with the same color wires.
The 2014 and 2017 fuel pumps had different part numbers, but interchanged, with the bend of the fuel level sensor arm the likely difference. Didn't seem to make a difference on the fuel gauge on mine - it was as inaccurate as always.
Thanks everyone for the info. From all your input, my understanding is...
If I buy a 17 tank with the 17 pump, I shouldn't have to do any mods, not even to the fuel sensor arm? With exception to the fuel line connector...?
