The CB1100 Community Forum

Bought my CB1100 this past spring. I always loved the sound of a Honda inline 4, but my current Cobra header gets a bit louder when the exhaust system gets hot. Too loud and sounding like a sport bike is not a desirable feature for me. I am thinking about going back to the stock exhaust. Tell me why this is a good or bad idea if all I want is to quieten the bike down a little.

That looks good on the CB.
I do not want my bike too loud like a HD, bit louder doesn't bother me.
One member has OEM, almost brand new muffler for sale ????

I will admit I like "the looks" of your Cobra offering milkmaster, and it would be even better lookin' without the logo.

Stock exhaust for me. The silencer is a tad larger than it needs to be though.
