Wasn’t that long ago Cormanus. I tried to find one for him but with no luck. I know I’ve search around the internet a few times over the years as people wondered, but, nothing.

Heel/toe shifters work well if positioned properly. If your reason for wanting one is to reduce the amount of ankle rotation or just a simpler motion, take a look at this thread:

It effectively does the same thing, makes for less foot movement.

Determine how far forward you want to move the lever. Take the shift lever off and take it a local welder and have him add that much distance with a short extension and weld it up. I've used muffler shops before since they have welding gear. Wire brush the weld, maybe touch it with a grinder, paint it black, good to go.

Just bought a 2013 and my 70 year old legs dont bend like they should......I have already done the right side and plan on working up the left side this weekend with the storm coming thru the east.....the right side was easy as I discovered I could "heel" the brake pedal without it being moved ! The shifter on the left has to be reconfigured of course

Did you ever get the shifter side done? I need to do something similar and would love to some pics for inspiration!

Take the bike to a muffler shop and tell the guy what you want. I'd bet he could remove the shifter lever, cut it, and weld a piece of material in there to move the shifter forward. I had considered doing that but just got used to it instead.
