Just wanted to know if any one has fitted the Vario footpeg lowering kit. Thinking of trying the 30mm lowering kit, just to give my old knees an easier time. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Nick.
I bought a set from a forum member here , they won’t fit on the cb 1100 , the space where they mount is too narrow. I didn’t want to grind them down to fit and not leaving enough material to support weight properly .
I bought a set of adjustable pegs off a forum member quite a while back. They’re anodized aluminum and they have three or four positions you can put the peg into that raises or lowers it. Nice looking and robustly put together. I have them on the lowest setting and it does make a difference for riding comfort, particularly in the hips for me on longer distances
I have used lowered rider pegs on another bike and they do the job but I don't think the lowering foot pegs are suited to the CB1100.

You might consider looking at it from another angle? Get your seat recovered with a 20mm-30mm addition. There is a fixed price service from Motea for €189 for a Gel seat plus the added height for €80. Plus postage there and back.

I keep toying with the idea of this one but haven't pulled the trigger. I think you would want some basic 20mm bar risers too to prevent extra forward lean.
