The same. It turned, for me, a very frustrating motorcycle to ride, into what should have been released as stock.
I'd be interested, Beardo, if you could tell me why the bike was frustrating to ride and how re-flashing the ECU improved it.
Lol, I bought my CB as a street bike not a racer, viewed and accepted its specs prior the purchase, no regrets.
If I wanted a speed bike, I would consider a Bimota

alot of us didn't know about the speed limiter when buying and I can't just go drop thousands on another bike I like my cb that's why I bought one all you fuddy duddy's that always talk about "I don't need to go faster that 112" or "the cb is fast enough" good for you were not talking about you or your bike so carry on mean while ill keep pushing the limits with what I have because why its mine thats why

its frustrating because here in oklahoma people are nuts on the road many times i have been put in a position to get out of the way of traffic doing 100+ mph on the highway and hitting the limiter could be life or death, on top of that i have had people try and chase me down i bet a car hitting you from behind at 112 while trying to run for your life would change your mind its happened to me. also limited timing in the first few gears makes it boring to ride for us who like to ride and not pidder patter down the boulevard at 30 - 50 mph all day
Wow, 100+ miles/hr …
You should polish your skills on a track and challenge MM or his younger brother Alex…

Thank your for your explanations, m in sc and 1973cb750. If anyone else would like to add to those answers, please do so, provided you can do it without taunting or criticising. The commentary on people's riding habits is really not helpful.
