This one's well hidden in fairly recent history; I've been aware of the 83 CB1100F (as we all are I'm sure) but I've never heard of the CB1100SF (1999 - 2003) aka the X11. I think it's neat looking. Anyone here have personal experience with it? I found it looking into 'streetfighters' (I had the Ducati one as a desktop background for awhile).
Sure don't remember that one. Resembles a Duc Monster in a way.
Sadly it was never imported to the US. I've read lots of good things about it through other forums.
Did it actually come from the factory with red calipers, radiator hoses and shock springs? And look at those wave rotors.
Nope, never imported to USA. Cool bike. What does that sign in the background of the photo say? It's Greek to me.
The ride report says they were indecently powerful, handling was poor, brakes were good but used Hondas Linked system which many riders didnt like and were difficult to de- link. Also that sales were slow and Honda was fast to pull the plug.
