I love the look of the Bolt but I can see why she wanted to make the switch. That Guzzi is gorgeous! The coloring is perfectly retro looking.
You know Curt, maybe it's just the angle, but those cylinders look larger in diameter than the cylinders on the Breva 750 I test rode before buying my Bonneville back in 03. One of the things I didn't care for on the Breva was the cylinders were so small, unlike the nice big cylinders on my brothers 73 Moto Guzzi 850 Eldorado ( like the one on deb's white T shirt) which was one heck of a bike in it's day. Btw...where did you find a Guzzi dealer? On their website it says there are none near me lol.
My main complaint on the old V7, the motor looked like a Kohler generator motor. Bleah. New castings make it look like a proper motorcycle engine. Still is a dated design with limited (and already reached) potential performance wise; but the grin factor is still a mile high. Plus they are easy to work on and sound cool. And you can still tour on them.

A 74 Eldorado at Mid-Ohio last year is what sparked her Guzzi Fever. We went to Clevelandmoto, Phil Waters and has a great vintage bike podcast of the same name. Great dude a pleasure to deal with.

It was a hard choice because she just got the Bolt, but her passion won out.
