I own a 2012 Triumph Street Triple R which I owned about two years before I bought the Honda. It has a classic street bike feel without being too much of a crotch rocket. This past summer, we went from Florida to New Hampshire on the Triumph with nothing more than a tank bag and a Givi.

Sweet ride. I've heard so many good things about the Street Triple, I almost bought one instead of the CB. Happy with my decision since I think the CB is more my style but those Triumphs sure are tempting.
My son was waffling between one of those and a Ducati Monster. He bought the Ducati (well his wife bought it for him for a wedding present). Should have bought the Triumph. He loves the Duc for sentimental reasons, but for other reasons he calls it his Italian Harley.
Sweet bike! That hits the sweet spot for displacement/power/weight. If the dealer network for Triumph was better where I live, this would have been a choice for me when I bought the VFR. But the CB found me in the right place for what I need.
The Street Triple is an excellent bike. I have put over 31Kmiles in two years, and she is running strong. What I like about the CB1100 is that she is a little easier to work on because everything is more accessible. The Street Triple requires fuel tank removal to have access to the air filter, fuses, etc. I find myself taking the Street Triple in long trips and using the CB in the city and back-roads. Lucky to be in this love triangle Big Grin
Sweet... Reminds me of MI2
I test rode a Street Triple a few years back. Powerful motor with surprising torque at low revs and plenty of power in the upper revs. If I only had enough money to own all the bikes I want. I'd need a bigger garage also.

I was waffling between the same two! But I came out with the Triumph. Owned it about two years and added the Honda!
