Just got the old girl out of the shop, new piston, rings, cam chain, rectifier, battery and a lot of general clean up. Runs like new again. anybody else have one of these old classics? I still think this is one of Hondas best bikes. It does what it was built to do as well as any bike I have ever had.
Neat. All those 60's four stroke singles from Honda were just nearly indestructible. People used to bring them into the shop I worked at looking like they had been thru a war, not a straight piece on them. Their multiple kids had taken turns beating the snot out of them in the woods and running big circles around the family farm wide open. Couple prods of the kick starter and there they were, sitting there, happily idling like the day they were purchased. Amazing pieces of engineering.
Beautiful old Honda Stackman. Prices seem to be going up on these old Hondas when you can find one and deservedly so.
