2 weekends ago I went bushwalking with the family. On the way back we spotted a bike show in a local park.

It was late afternoon so they were winding up but we still caught some beautiful bikes from a past era.

You may recognise something from your youth or perhaps your dads past.

Hi Cormanus
Next year I will make sure to get there early as over a hundred bikes are put on display. Might even try to sneak the CB into the event as a modern day classic.

I reckon the CB 1100 would be just as rare as some of the old timers on display. Maybe even more so. In 12 months of ownership the only other 1100 I have ever come across on the road was Pterodactyl's a few weeks ago. Whilst old Hondas, BMW's, Triumphs, Nortons and other 60 or 70' Japanese classics are a common site on most weekends.

Most riders I meet are not even aware Honda made our model. Many really like it when they see it, so its a shame we no longer get this model. Not a great marketing job by the factory when retro bikes are selling well in other brand showrooms.

The ABS version that we should have had would really have set the CB apart from others like the Bonneville, V7 Guzzi and W800 Kawasaki
Very cool stuff. I had a 450 just like the one in the pic only mine had chrome head pipes. Never cared for it.

I have never seen a Victoria either. Looks like a Moto Guzzi of sorts.

The Vincent is stunning.
I recognize all of them except the Victoria Twin. Never heard of that one before.
Great shots. Thanks for posting.
