Oh, how do I resist this???
(...especially as a past - and VERY happy - FZ1 owner???)

Beautiful machine, but a little pricey for my budget.
I like the 2017 SCR950 Scrambler...

I really like this bike. Good electronics package. Best naked so far, like an FZ8 massively upgraded. You have the Gen 1 or Gen 2 FZ1? I had a Gen 1, with steel frame, but FZ8 uses Gen 2 frame with slight mods. Really, really good handling.

I wonder about the short wheelbase of this one; gonna be very quick-turning.
No doubt the new FZ-10 is a really FAST bike infused with lots of new technology, but way to "Transformer-like" for me. That, and the over the top price of 13k (vs. 7.5k for a leftover CB) will be out of reach for most wanting a comfortable, everyday street bike. I'd even go so far to say, I would still prefer my FZ-1 over the new FZ-10.
A few years ago at a Yamaha demo days my son and I rode the R-1s. The bikes were extremely uncomfortable, but oh that motor. After the demo ride we both said if they put that motor in a Gen 1 style FZ-1 we'd buy one. We each had Gen 1 FZ-1s (I had 2 of them) and loved them. Well Yamaha you are a little late. I have my CB and my son just bought an FJ-09. Bet it is one heck of a bike though.
No doubt a great bike in every way but I could never get used to the styling. I'd have to put a sheet over it when garaged so I wouldn't have to look at it. Of course when riding it, who would care. The performance would make me smile.
I want a bike. Not a transformer or maybe a military attack bike. sigh.

I've got one of those already in red. Big Grin
This would be for the moods of those other days...

Mine was a blue 2005. Very nice, smooth, plenty of juice everywhere.
