Seems like I worked most of the kinks out. I Drained out the Shell Rotella and replaced it with Valvoline 10w40 motorcycle oil and there is a big difference in the shifting. I replaced the coils and timed it and its running good.
I am amazed what these old Honda's are bringing. Did you guys see the Red Black Bomber that sold on eBay last night? 14 large

I did see that Red Dragon! I'm on a CB 450 site and the guys are always talking about the Red Dragon like it's a myth. But man 14k, I'll be taking offers on mine. Clap
Very cool read...missed all of it as it was progressing, but your write up made for an enjoyable evening. Very nice job...I think, if only I had the skills. I have a brother who is an awesome mechanic and has a huge shed and would love to help me out...alas he lives a mere 2000 miles away : (
