Good read! I once found an 1975 XS500 for sale for $500 in great condition for a buddy of mine who was bikeless at the time. I said if you don't buy it I will. Of course he bought it. Dang it!

Great story! My good friend had a Yammie 750 triple and it was a joy to ride. The first motorcycle wet clutch I ever replaced was on that bike. It was quite the learning experience. As I recall, we put it together and tore it apart 3 times before we got it right

This nice story remember me my 750 xs in the 80's with a really noisy 3 into 1...great pleasure but what an oil consumption!
