If Honda were to decide to go head to head with the likes of the FZ-07, SV650 and the Z650 then I'd personally be wishing for an up-to-date version of the Hawk GT.

Honda did update the CBR650F line this year, looks good and isn't too, too far off the Kawasaki. More tepid in terms of power and handling, but could be a contender.

My local Honda dealer set up a 650F as a sport-tourer: side and top cases, larger windscreen, a few other add-ons. It's just a smidge too tall for my wife or it may have been a contender for her next bike.
