Great analogy! A bison. I never thought of it that way, but I see it.
I had two Honda VF1000R's very strong and great running bikes but road holding was not great with the 16 inch front tires. When better tires cam available a few years later it was better. I used the Metzeler Competion K tires, had to get them from CA . It also was a heavy bike and no room to work on the carbs.
welp, this is a dead issue. after some research i've discovered that the shaft drive is really going to stick in my craw. if i upgrade the forks, it's going to cost me a fortune to get a matching rear wheel that works with the shaft drive. bummer in a big way. Lesson learned, i'm only shopping for chain drive from now on.
no big deal though. this money was going to go to upgrading my CB anyway.
