Now the Kawa runs much smoother again, the old chain set was too much worn out after 30.000km. Although a cold wind was blowing from the sea, I don't felt it much because the W warmed my heart during the ride.

Nice old school look, classic engine configuration, faux front "drum" brake appearance.

The front disc is just a brake, not one the best but it works somehow. I don't mind the appearance. It was Kawa's choice since they released the W650 20 years ago and kept it with W800. The W800/2, now coming on the market, has this kind of brake even as rear brake due to Euro Norm 4 restrictions. Buyers will not worry about it and take it as it is. I love the rear drum brake of the first W800.

Hard to beat the 2000 W650 in blue and silver. Not fast thats for sure but it was a kick to ride. Had two of them. Would buy another.

A lovely bike that's for sure. Especially in this colour.
Had previously this W650 but switched to the first W800/1 in green and love it even more.
