Yes, I do and he also has a brother called Tom.
Holy Moly! I know the same brothers! :O
Sat on the new 2019 CB500X yesterday, oh man, it felt good. The extra height it gained suits me very well. After my dual sport ride a couple weeks ago it got me thinking about a bike that was not as top heavy or as thirsty as the 650L. Now the CB500X is a bit heavier than the 650L but it's down lower. The CRF450L is lighter by a lot, with more power to boot, but has a seat only a thong could love.

I could get the 500X and trick it out with Rally Raid bits to make it much more competent in the dirt but at that point it would start to be as expensive as the 450L (although much better on the road).

I started watching Sven Olson on youtube, he traded in his 250L for the new 500X (he's had the big BMW's in the past so he's not a green horn in this hobby) and he's taken the 500x on some pretty rough roads/trails (after upgrading the tires to TCK's). So many the 500X would be a better fit.

On a side note, those roads in Norway are very narrow!
