Absolutely beautiful bike! Parts availability, previous owner modifications, past maintenance, and availability would probably make it hard to find a good one. I have searched for used Duacatis online without a lot of luck. Sellers seem to want a premium for the ones I found and none were like yours!
no insurance needed at racetrack.
That is a great looking bike. Hey manufacturers, stop it already with the stupid black rims and murdered-out, matte-finish paint schemes! Take a hint from Ducati.
Talked to my son last night and asked him what he is paying for insurance on his FZ-10 aka MT-10 (liter class up right naked sport bike from Yamaha) and he said $456 a year full coverage. He is 40, clean driving record, 21 years experience. I think where we live contributes to our low rates.
So I just quoted myself for a 2019 CBR1000RR, through Progressive, with $500 comp & collision deductibles.

$3,000 dollars a year! ($250 a month).

Now, I can get that down to $150 a year if I opt for no coverage except the required pedestrian benefits coverage.

Maybe life is just different in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
Wow! Ouch!
