It came out just as the "chopper" fad was over. No CB1000R. They did have a CB300R that was a looker. If it was just a "Super Four"...sigh.

Apparently they sell more than CB1000R's or the dealers wouldn't stock them
Someone on this forum bought a Fury. I can’t remember who.
Decarmine had one. But he got rid of it and got an HD.

Search on Fury gave 6 pages of results and I didn’t read them all so maybe another member has/had one too.
To be clear, we are talkin' the Honda variety and not ...

Cool cage nevertheless.
I had a '69 Fury III. 17 3/4 feet of Mopar steel. Loved it.

Loved the Fury for its looks but found myself turning corners much more slowly than on previous bikes. The longer wheelbase *looks* great but certainly has an impact on handling (Maybe my 75-year-old body had something to do with that!)

Now the Harley Sport Glide handles *much* better than the Fury.

Only the second Harley I've ever owned, but quickly has become one of my all-time favorites...

BTW -- I traded the Fury as well as a CB1100 to my local HD dealer. Watched their web site and saw that the Fury was gone (sold) within about a week but the CB took about 6 - 8 weeks before disappearing from their site...
