Yea, they don't have to build one for me.
Nice graphics draft.

If it becomes reality, at least the seat looks comfortable and the engine is essentially bulletproof. Could be doable. Is the market ready? Is the market ready for anything these late days?

It won't look like this when it gets here. This is someone's photoshop mock-up. Comstars? CM400T striping on the tank? Is it the '80s again? I'd like to see it in a more "standard" style. The engine isn't visually appealing, but maybe it can be surrounded by nicer bodywork.
My parents tried to teach me that if I didn't have anything nice to say then don't sa

never mind

Seriously though, if that's the kind of bike that would keep motorcycling alive with a certain segment of the market then so be it.
only a big engine will be not a reason for me, bcos the actual seatposition i dont like of the rebel ..or.. i have just to short arms....Huh...Smile...and somehow are for me the footpegs something to high / too far back for a cruiser and i have not the longest legs...and this in combination with the short arms...
Not something that would appeal to me, but maybe a way for Honda to make their way back to the mid-size cruiser market with something more traditionally styled than their more recent attempts. After the Shadow 1100 and VTX1300, they went all Batman style, which probably turned off quite a few people.
At least I could touch the ground Thumbs Up
In some recent articles, some patent applications by Honda suggest there may be various platforms for the Africa Twin and inspired the rendering at the beginning of this thread. Here are some that suggest some new Standard and Sport (not Super-Sport) models, along with the original Africa Twin and Rebel versions.

Yeaz, I have read some about some rumblings regarding rumors that Honda might be re-purposing there Africa Twin inline-twin for some mid-range models to fill some gaps in their product line. A 790 cc AT and 1100 cc Rebel are candidates indeed.
