Be careful. Now three of us have mentioned the excessive turn-in of more than one model of newer Moto Guzzis. On my '14 California it was so severe it was an unsafe vehicle. I am not overstating it. It was that bad. Maybe some combination of the size, weight, rake, trail? I don't know.

What is "turn in"?

When making a turn or taking a long sweeping highway exit, the bike forcefully tried to keep turning more and more. Mine took A LOT of effort to keep it from turning more. There was never anything like a 'gentle turn', it was always a fight every time, everywhere. Very unsettling and dangerous especially after a long riding day when I was a bit tired. A fight until I got in the garage.

I had that "problem" when I put Road Pilot 3's on the CB. I'm used to it now.

I have owned a MG V7 Classic since 2009. I have never experienced any of the handling problems detailed here. The original OEM Metzelers were crap. Replacing them with Pirellis made a huge difference.

If anything the MG handling is a little slow compared to my BMW and Honda.

The V7III should be at the U.S. dealerships next week (according to my local dealers here in So. Cal).
It has a slightly different rake angle and a couple other small geometric differences that could change the steering. Not sure what tire could improve the turn-in issue. I think they come with Pirelli Demons, which have grip, but not son good on longevity.
Also a couple more hp.

Looking forward to the revised V9 Roamer (pegs set farther back and different seat)

In addition to the blue, Guzzi is now showing a V7 iii Special in black with a green stripe. I really like it!

I looked at their site as well. I like their rear rack and where could you get one of these for the CB?

I'll have to look. I don't do long rides and not really interested in a bug screen but covering the instrument cluster soul be pretty clean.

Nice looking bikes.
