The CB1100 Community Forum

I use to own rebel 500 for 3 years. Absolutely love the bike, it wasn’t easy for me to change it, as I didn’t like any other bikes as much. Even with cb1100 it took me almost a year to make a decision.

Three of my last four bikes had a selectable "Rain Mode". Two of them were in the mid-50 hp class. When not in Rain Mode it was easy to spin the rear wheel, particularly in turns (maybe in one case tires had something to do with it). I think it has a place during rainy, rote commuting. Otherwise, it is off.
