This is interesting. Not convincing, but interesting.

Hmm, I kinda like the looks (at least initially).
Hmm, it looks like HD Undecided
Polaris Indian since 2011
Looks like a cruiser - IMHO better than an HD.
Looks like it's basically a fat boy near as i can see. that's a smart move actually. HD is posting enormous losses every quarter. might as well snap up their most popular models and replace them with your own.
Nice looker. Dealer network is wafer thin over in the UK. Big cities like London are probably ok but I don’t think I have ever seen an Indian bike of any sort out in the wild. Ever. The HD network has shrunk massively too over the last decade.

We have one Indian, one Triumph and one Ducati dealer in the Republic of Ireland. The other Japanes brands tend to sell to any bikeshop that wants to sell them as the market is too fragmented and small to warrant any level of investment.

The big cubic capacity engined brands are at a disadvantage here due too a engine cc tax. This Indian would have a tax of €2,240 ($2,700 US) and that is on top of the 23% sales tax (VAT) on the cost of the bike in the first place. The Indian dealer also sell Zero Motorcycles but I just can't see them surviving. Can't say I like the style but the FTR range look good.
That engine is goofy looking IMHO. However Indian is probably selling 4 Scouts for every bloated bagger and it finally dawned on them that everyone doesn't want a land barge. Its a step in the right direction for sure.

Yeah, Indian has always had unique lump deco, but that is a part of their charm.
