Just placed a deposit on one of these beauties, it will arrive in NZ in August (hopefully).
190kg, 119hp, Ohlins, quickshifter, should be fun!
Does that mean, “Bye-bye, CB1100,” treedoc?
Neat treedoc.
An almost non-existent tailpipe
mmmm everybody loves a raucus triple. more guts than the comparable Triumph, less cash. good choice.
Nice! I love the CP3 engine. ridden an older FZ and it was quite the bike.
Been seeing rumors of a possible YZF R9 in the works. If so, I would strongly consider one of those.

Hey Cormanus, I will 'probably' say farewell to my beloved CB if the new bike is everything its cracked up to be.
I haven't been able to ride (or even sit on) one, so if I don't gel with it I will keep the CB, I will certainly keep it until I am sure.
I have ridden the old model and while it was fun I wouldn't swap my CB with it, but this new MT09 is supposed to be much improved.
I don't want multiple bikes, one is enough for me at the mo.
Fair call. I’m a one-bike guy too.

Still not as pretty as my Z900RS! PS...My hp is close to that now so is my dry weight.
Also my seat you can actually ride 300/400 miles at a seating and still walk. I doubt the comfort factor of any seat that thin!

..and as CB1100 .....but better HP and weight reduction.
Still a Tic-Tac compared to the CB1100, but I reckon that is not the point in the eyes of the beholder.
