Now that is touring at its finest! David
Getting jealous, Tev.
Beautiful journey!!
The guy in the turquoise shirt.. is that 1/2 Jay Leno??

Hmmmmm, paella! What a wonderful way to visit Spain. I owe my professional life to starting out learning Spanish in Sevilla...41 years ago!
Looks like loads of fun. Very nice. Those GSAs make long distance travel a breeze.
Days 2-4 done at the advrider site. Still today and tomorrow to ride some. Boise doesn't disappoint!

Just have a little patience, and the internet will provide.
I recently installed Givi side case racks on Superbird to make it a full, three-box touring machine. I initially bought the bike to make a commute I just quit, so this is the next plan for her.
I have two E45 Monokey boxes I had initially thought about using as my side cases. They are big and better suited as top cases, and probably too large to realistically use as side cases, especially in tight traffic. They are pretty basic looking, like vintage hard luggage so style-wise, they look great a large top box for the CB1100.
I’ll sell one of them, and figured if I was patient for just a bit, a solution would present itself.
Just today, a great solution came along. A pair of brand new, never used 35 liter Trekker cases came up on Craig’s List. The owner said she didn’t like the grey trim on them and priced the pair for well under what a single one is selling for.
Sold a few unneeded Superbird parts on the way to go get the side cases and wasn’t out much added cash to pick them up.
Now she’s got enough storage room for a week on the road, if I ever get the time.

Well, that is part of the plan! My trips north have typically been dictated by those MotoQuest transport deals. I bought Superbird with the intention of making it a commuting appliance, but now that I’m not commuting at all, let alone 60 miles each way, she needed a new purpose.
With the new medical delivery service just getting off the ground I don’t know when I’ll have time for a vacation but Superbird is ready for the trip!
