It would be a decent bike, but I don't see it offered in CR. The Yamaha XT250 is sold there, but at $7600, it's $2100 more there than here in the U.S. One day I'll find out why 250cc bikes and larger are hit with high import taxes; likely, it's because they don't want the "gas-guzzling big bikes" to be easy to buy.
CB350S is priced in the UK as £3,949 On the Road, with a RE Hunter 350 coming in at £3,979 it's easy to see which slice of the pie they are looking for. Unfortunately here in Ireland we will have a 23% sales tax compared to the UK's 21% but worst of all this 350cc will also attract an extra Vehicle Registration Tax, a one time fee on any new bike based on engine size. In Ireland this little beaty will therefore attract a further €698 in taxes. This tax is costed at €2 per cc up to 350cc then €1 per cc for every cc above 350. That puts a disproportionate tax on small bikes making it harder for those starting off. I expect the Irish price of the CB350S will match that of the RE equivalent here and come in at €6,000 which is a crazy price.
i guess my yellow bee will go next year.....for the GB......becaus in the past years I really got a taste for light bikes
but i would prefer the normal version and not the "S"......i like more nice fenders with fine taillights...instead of sporty ergonomics...well what do you want...unfortunately we only get the "S" here
explanations start at at 2:50.......ergonomics diff. at 4.57
Alp, if you let yellow bee go, she’ll be missed a lot, cos she was unique!!

I like the look of that bike.

successful test sitting at the dealer with a body height of 173cm, the machine does not seem big like the cb but also not small , now I just have to make room for it
Ugh...I would so be in the market for this if they would offer it here. It's so much classier than the other offerings in its class, better than the competing royal enfield, and less expensive than the triumph 400s available. It's perfect.
