Anyone know if the non USA CB's have a catalytic converter?

Also, for any of you who have replaced your header pipe and had a chance to look down the stock header, just how restrictive is the cat?

I remember seeing it from the backside when I had the stock muffler off. Looked like a regular restrictive honey-comb style in there, IIRC.
