Great info. I haven't taken it to the last drop unlike you did, but I pushed it as far as I could comfortably. I was on my 2013, going to work when the last bar started blinking at 140 miles. When I finally decided to fill up, I was at 166.9. I sat there and filled it up, and let it settle down several times trying to get it maxed out. Finally I got 3.755, into her. Ended up getting around 44 mpg on 87 octane. Now the question I have is how close to running out did I truly get as I always fill it up past the bottom of the filler neck and let it settle.

I thought filling up past the bottom of the filler neck, introduces a variable in the capacity in excess of that quoted by Honda changing the tank volume comparison with others.
One day soon I will do the ride to empty challenge on my 2011.

Strap an old oil quart full of gasoline to your seat, and stick close to gas stations when your last fuel bar has been blinking for a while!!
