As most of you know, the American CB's come with virtually no tools out of the approximately 20 available. I brought this to the attention of my salesman and he ordered the complete set for me and comp me on it. I believe all in its about $82.

That's it , rub it in.
Same here.
My CB only came with 3-4 tools. The salesman ordered the rest of them and they came no charge.
Unfortunately, I didn't know to ask about the toolkit when I bought my bike since I didn't realize we had been shortchanged until reading about it here. I looked around for a nice aftermarket kit but realized that, for the same price or cheaper, I could just do what the dealership did for you guys and buy the remaining OEM tools separately. Now I only carry tools that are useful for the CB1100 and they all fit neatly into the existing pouch. Thumbs Up

I think I saw this in another thread somewhere but MotoSport has the best price that I could find. All the remaining tools cost me $50.36, shipped. Here's a link to the OEM toolkit:

Here's a list of the remaining tools needed to fill out the toolkit:

2 - BAG, SERVICE BOOK 77251-GR1-000 1 $3.00
3 - WRENCH, BOX (P14) | (Optional) 89216-KVZ-630 1 $8.87
4 - WRENCH, EYE (32) 89218-MAZ-000 1 $7.55
7 - SPANNER, PIN 89230-MB1-000 1 $15.12
8 - WRENCH (8X12) (OPEN END) 99001-08120 1 $2.33
9 - WRENCH (10X14) (OPEN END) 99001-10140 1 $2.57
10 - WRENCH (14X17) (OPEN END) 99001-14170 1 $3.01
12 - SCREWDRIVER 3 STRAIGHT SLOTNO 99003-30000 1 $1.00
14 - HANDLE, EYE WRENCH (120MM) 99006-12000 1 $2.64
15 - WRENCH, EYE (27MM) 99006-27000 1 $4.27

The first item, "BAG, SERVICE BOOK" is the zip-lock back that our operator's manual came in. You don't need it except for the fact that without it the price came in under $49 which was the cutoff for free shipping. Shipping is $8 so by not including the bag the total cost shipped would be $55.36 instead of $50.36.

FYI, item #5 (in the picture) is a hex wrench that is not available for purchase anywhere. The one we already have in our kit is item #6 (5mm hex). Honda must have changed something after they drew up and distributed that picture.
The screw driver that comes with the bike was absolutely useless when I tried to remove the battery terminal screws to install a charger plug. The handle is way too small to get any kind of leverage, good luck using it for any repairs on the road.
I kept a complete tool set from a previous cycle so I put it under the seat with the 1100 tool kit. Complete tool kits have been available on ebay in the past, reasonably priced.
White Dog,

Yeah, but those were carbureted tool kits. We need fuel injected tool kits Tongue
Don't need a tool kit. Have RLETs.
My Honda dealership is ordering all of it for me. Those look all nice and silvery unlike my last Honda tool kit, all the tools in it had a gold tint.
they're a bit expensive, but very well made and they have different sets for different make bikes- Cruz Tools. Sometimes can be found on eBay.
