For those who have the time or desire to assemble their own motorcycle, the individual components required to build a '14 DLX can be purchased from Honda for about $53,000, not including the frame.

Do those prices include shipping? Frightening to think what an uninsured crash might cost!
It would be a lot simpler to buy a '17 EX and spend an extra $900 on a DLX tank and side covers. Not sure how it would look with the two tone engine though.
