Years ago my ex was driving my Mitsubishi Nimbus 120km to visit her mother. I offered to check the oil but she insisted she could do it. An hour after she had gone I walked out to the driveway and saw this black thing laying on the ground. Yes it was the oil filler cap. Fortunately only the oil level dropped a bit but made a he** of a mess of the engine bay.
