Thanks for everyones input. I ordered the Hepco Becker racks and the are not compatible with the Honda luggage rack on the bike. I am going to sell them but cannot advertise on the forun since I do not have 25 posts.

So where does one obtain such an aluminum / aluminium face plate?
I think that if you look at the 2017 Honda CB 1100 parts list you will find it , PERHAPS I got mine from Mr. T It just snaps over the existing one on your bike , no need to remove anything.
If NOT mistaken, the silver cover has to be from 2017 CB, item #11, P/N 37900-MGC-JB0

Someone to chime in to correct or confirm.
That might be a fun part to put a carbon-fiber wrap on.

I am certain that this is the one Peter , very easy to put on and it looks SO much better.
