What are the panniers, kennyw?
They're really nice, slim and fit nicely to the 'bike.
Are they Samurider- or Webike-sourced?

Originally from Samurider but it looks like they are discontinued now. I am selling this set now but I would imagine international shipping from the US would not be cheap.

Still on the Samurider site, but says discontinued. For your viewing pleasure: https://www.samurider.com/?p=23476/#itemImage

Thanks, kennyw. I was hoping I could perhaps get a set locally, because they are such a nice design. Too expensive to ship+customs, I guess.

Thanks popgun, my lord...!

Yes, I saw that they were discontinued there - they looked nice and slim on the site, but when you see how nicely they fit kennyw's... Never mind.

LOL!!
You still might want to drop Mr. T a note. Never know, Asahi might still have a set or two laying around.

Bazbro, would you have to pay duty on second-hand goods?

I'm really not sure. If not, it would be a way round paying duty - get packages opened and the packaging destroyed and the item is then "second-hand hand and not dutiable".
I'll try to find out...

Sometimes (and it is follow-up drag) duty is charged and they leave it up to the recipient to register a claim if it was unjust.
