I was mistaken- the bad K&N filters per their notice were made in 2016, not 2006.

Checking mine, the code on my Bonnie is newer, and the one on my CB doesn’t have a date code...

In my personal experience none of my friends nor me have ever had issues with Mobil 1 and I try to stick with those. But again options are worth peanuts. My brother has a good saying.. Mobil 1 only does oil. Unlike other companies there is no juggling over at Mobil 1.. oil and only oil is their bread and butter.

take the filters apart and look at them. Wix wins.
