Hi all, recently my bike have developed this intermittent ticks sound and engine will skip a beat when it happen during idling. It only happen after engine warm up and will skip a beat during idling/ free gear revving. But never happen during riding/ accelerating.
I had recorded a clips when this happen during free gear revving and happen at 5s Mark.
Can't get any video during idling because its intermittent.





Something loose maybe???

I’m not sure I’m hearing anything other than the fuel injectors.

Yeah, I heard some sort of "pict" sound, but hard for me to discern.

Well, at exact 5s point there's a "tink" sound. I guess the engine noise might have cover it. During idling the engine kind of skip a beat but engine never dies.

Some freak predetonation maybe? Maybe a tad carbon build-up on a valve seat that glows longer than desired? Dunno.
