Yes. The trip meter read 162 miles (261 km). I wasn't getting very good mileage because I was on an interstate highway with a speed limit of 80 mph. So cruising at 80-85 mph I was only getting about 43 mpg.

What was nerve wracking was the blinking fuel gauge that was blinking steadily for the last 32 miles.
Ain’t that the truth!

Blinking is good, blank is nerve wracking. That's what happened to me, and the reason for the persistent posts.

As I remember the fill-up did not take anything near 16.8 litres, even though there should have been less that 1 liter in the tank according to the blank gauge. So either the gauge is wacky or the tank is smaller than advertised.

I'll find out in May, unless another 2017 CB1100 EX rider unexpectedly runs dry sooner.
Would like to retrospect to this interesting thread...

As per Honda Japan info, the biggest, seamless tank for 2017 & up is 16 L.

燃料タンク容量(L) 2017 & up CB1100RS-EX=16 L/4.4 gal

But, I heard a lot of rumours about 16.8 L seamless tanks, as well as, I read a few articles, confirming almost 17 L capacity ...??

Local, US or CAN markets may differ.
Hmmm, useful PB. Might need a new CB?
Unlikely to happen, love my '14, however, there are a few things, I'd love to install from a '17 model
Me too, and what I want for my '14 is not reality ... a shaft final drive. Undecided
