On a 2013 CB1100 is the display between the tach/speedo supposed to go blank when you you turn the key off ?, my bike shows the E and F where the fuel gauge is and a outline above it. If this stays on will it draw on the battery?, thanks for any info on this.
It is the polarization of liquid crystal. For some reason segments are remaining polarized. I think you are okay, but the display's health is less than optimum.
The cluster clock "ticker" runs, but none of these are significant draws on the battery.
WHAT!? Those are painted on and are normal.

Thanks for pointing that out, I just looked at it closer and noticed its painted on, my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be !
Oh good. That means no display problems.
