Looked at the anemic selection of tools that came with the CB. Missing the pin spanner for rear shock adjust (among others). Partzilla has this for $20. Is there an aftermarket wrench that would work? Is there a certain measurement needed for the CB rear shocks?

I bought a full set of different sizes from Amazon recently for $24. Came in a nice roll case. Just search "motorcycle pin spanner".
I use a parrot-nose pliers...if I'm feeling particularly fastidious, I wrap a shop rag around the top of the shock.
@Waggonp., If you like, I can send you the "exact" shape of the original wrench (if you do not have it). From there you take a flat piece of metal (~ 2/16 inch flat sheet) and cut your own tool in the garage.
WagonPeddler -- I found these on E-bay. 2 for $5.59. Seem to work just fine.

It's basically what J3gq above suggested -- just stamped out of flat bar stock. And there were several other options suggested for under $10. I think I bought these about a year ago.
It's not cheap, but I've used it for over 40 years, and it has replaced all other hook spanner/pin wrenches. It is large enough to use on most single-shock bikes, but thin enough to use on steering head bearing lock rings. Japanese quality, made by OEM tool supplier Kowa Seiki for Honda, p/n 07702-0020001.
A replica tool sold by Tucker/Rocky and "made" by Bikemaster is available on Amazon for $30.
