Hi all,
Recently changed the original tyres and tubes. (Both Dunlop)
Couldnt get Dunlop tubes for the tyres so fitted Continental.
The original Dunlops were almost 10 years old no issues, the new Continental tube on front loosing air and only 3 months old!
Any suggestions out there for a quality Tube ( Uk based)

did you try the spit test on the valve core? Are you positive it wasn't snakebit when you put it in? Tubes aren't rocket science, they've been making them for a long time.

Took tube out to check and removed and refitted valve, nothing obvious on tube so just fitted a new one.
As you say its not rocket science likley just the valve, but thought i would get a couple of spare tubes to keep just in case

As you say its not rocket science likley just the valve, but thought i would get a couple of spare tubes to keep just in case

Best long term solution is to convert your "Tube" tires into "Tubeless".
I converted mine (2017 ex) for over six (6) years already and never had any issue so far and replaced my tires 3 times already without any issue.
Many European 17' owners converted theirs through a supplier in Italy, however, I personally did my conversion with a 3M tape setup from a Japanese supplier "OUTEX" and bought through Mr Takeshi this site official sponsor.

Also, I like and used the Bridgestone T32 series tires (original sizes) - Noisy but good grip on wet pavement.

I already have T32 on the rear wheel, OEM size.
