This has been driving me nuts since I tool delivery.
I asked what tools were in the kit and the salesman said that Honda stopped delivery tool kits a few years back.
That didn't sound right to me.
The owners manual references one.
I looked at two other dealerships and their bikes did not have one either. Honda micro-fiche on line showed a tool kit and I found one bike on display at a 3rd shop that had a pouch, an Allen wrench and a screw driver. Every CB1100 I've seen has had a serial number in the low two digit range, mine is mid 50s. This leads me to suspect that maybe the early bikes slipped thru without them?
What were your bikes delivered with?
This has been hashed over a number of times. You don't get the full kit in the US. You get the pouch, the screw driver and a fuse puller. You can order the rest or order a nice aftermarket kit like Guth.

Thank-you. Delivery those few pieces makes no sense to me but I can accept it.
I kept the tool kit from my K75 so the only problem I have is where to carry the thing. The Brick had that great compartment inside the tail fairing.
I forgot about the allen wrench. Not sure what they meant it for. The fuse puller is obvious and I guess the screw driver is to get to the battery.

If you ever want to get your side covers off, you'll figure it out really quick.

Oh yeah I forgot. I used an allen from my tool box.
When I first tool delivery there was no kit at all. We later found a later bike with the pouch, screwdriver, fuse puller and an allan wrench. They gave me that.
I would expect that the basics required to adjust the read shocks and adjust the chain would be included but I base my expectations on what I had always had delivered with my bikes back in the '70s. I don't expect the set that comes with the BMW but my Yamaha Road Star at least came with the basics. When I sold the Brick I passed on the few model specific and specialty tools that it really needed.`
I imagine there are bike salvage yards that would sell you a tool kit, but really other than the sh ock spanner and spark plug socket you dont want to work on your bike with those crap tools anyway.
Im meeting a guy for lunch on mine 100 miles from home today, but when I get back Ill put together a suggested tool list you can pick up at Sears or your favorite tool store that will cover what you should need to carry.
