The other night I got the itch to run the 1/8 at the local drag strip. Its not the best the bike is capable of, but not too bad either. I could use a little practice! My best run of the night was 8.130 at 87 mph with 2.045 60ft. After watching the video, it really shows just how quiet the exhaust is. That stock can is going to have to go.
Cool, sounded like you shifted a bit early?
That's great to see, running anything is fun. We used to hit "grudge night" @ New England Dragway every Wed night. FUN FUN FUN I really miss it. That 600 I've talked about could run the 1/4 in 11 flat @ 126mph. We called it "the little Gixxer that could." Embaressed alot of bigger bikes on that one.

I did shift early at about 7500rpm. I was full throttle though, just didn't want to red line it yet at only 900 miles.

7500 seems good, looking at the dyno sheets any more revs and she'll fall on her face.

They have 600's now that run near mid 10's in stock condition.
cool, I've only done a few shifts near red line so far and it was fun!
