That was awesome! Just to show what a difference 10 more years makes, here's the foreward page from a 1972 Owner's Manual.

It's not a Japanese translation; it's Chinese. It has nothing to do with motorcycling, but it is a genuine notice I once found in a hotel in Guangzhou.
