Up to now no one's said anything to me about the bike while we've been out and about. But yesterday, when we were fueling up at a gas station close to home, an older man walked up to me and said "I just love that bike! It's beautiful." (I say "older" because he was older than me, lol.)

Anyway, he went on to say how he saw that this bike was coming out last year and he was thinking about buying one. He said, "It reminds me of younger days, you know?" Yes, I do know.

Last weekend we stopped for breakfast on the way home from Jerome, and in the restaurant we sat where we could look out the window and see our bikes (always do that when we have luggage on the bikes). We saw several people leaving the restaurant go out and really look my bike over, smiling and pointing things out on the bike. I'm glad I can ride a bike that makes other people smile.

Sue - get used to it. The bike attracts a lot of attention wherever it goes.

Although riding on the street, through our local college/cruise town, I noticed in general people do no turn for the sound of motorcycles like they used to when I was the first person in town with a 900 Ninja......I guess the novelty of super fast bikes has worn off.
Maybe my Staintune is not as loud as that 900 with a Vance and Hines w/comp baffle...streets are saturated with 10 second sport bikes...al least CB has its own niche.

Many of us have had similar reactions.
The vintage bike club I belong to meets every Sunday for breakfast at a restaurant on the edge of town.
We can see our bikes through a large window and my CB caught the attention of many customers as they passed by - as did all the vintage bikes from the 50's to the 70's; Triumph's, BSA's, Norton's, Yamaha's, BMW's.
I stopped for gas on the way home and a fellow gassing up too commented that I had a lovely bike. He thought it was a restoration, but looked puzzled when I said it was brand new

I went for a quick thrash out to a country town called Toodyay, pulled in to grab a coffee and came out to see two Coffin Cheaters (an Aussie 1% gang) admiring my bike.
I'll admit I was both flattered and intimidated.

On my way home from the dealership, 34 miles on the ODO. I hear, "wow, that's an old one"! It was fun to tell him it was an hour old. Lol

Just the other day. Man in his mid50s, riding a speed triple (love Triumphs) pulls up next to me at a light and says "man, that's such a beautiful machine". I took that as a complete compliment.
