Has anyone seen or heard of Red Mist lately? He's been strangely silent.
I bet he is putting 2 motors in his bike back to back! I think it was Ross Collins that did that with a 750 honda drag bike back in the 70,s. It was a nice looking bike.

While I was in California Guth told me Red felt misunderstood and under appreciated by forum members and no longer felt like he could participate. As far as we are concerned he is welcome here anytime, but I don't expect to see him post again.
That's very sad. I was and am in awe of his knowledge and learned a great deal from him. He introduced me to Breckenridge Elkins, for which I will always be grateful. I hope he reconsiders.

And so do I. Seemed like a good bloke who enjoyed a bit of to and fro. I join Cormanus, and I am sure others on this forum, in saying that I too learned from him. I truly hope that I didn't contribute to his decision.

Tyke57nz it might of been 3 motors hooked together for a drag bike. Might can goggle it and find it. But I do know it was 2 or 3 motors
RedMist was a very active member. Unfortunately when your active and speak your mind there will be criticism. I have been hit a few times but it goes with the territory. I believe Red was considering selling the CB from posts and conversation. Good guy and knowledgeable fella.
