I have just developed a trigger thumb, along with some arthritis-like aching in my fingers. It started on the last couple days of a tour, when I was anxious to get home and rode more highways. I'm thinking that the fingers of my gloves were too short, so I purchased some women's gloves (women's gloves have longer fingers). The extra room in the fingers seems to help.
I have also purchased some grip buddies to increase the size of the grips, but I haven't had a chance to put them on yet.
Thanks for the helpful suggestions - I have an appointment later today with my regular dr to discuss physical therapy options (if there are any). Haven't had to deal with cts yet, but interesting that this could be a precursor. Damn keyboards. So unnatural.
I too have trigger finger of the left hand, middle finger. It started several months after purchasing my CB. I had the cortisone shot in the palm last May, but I haven't been back to have the surgery scheduled. Other health issues cropped up in June so trigger finger fix is low on priority list.
