For $5500 I might have bought it for parts! For the future as this bike is not exactly a huge seller.

I've been looking at the cb1100 for a bit, but circumstances didn't lend itself... At 6500 I was in the fence, but then price didn't budge.. As stated, @ 5500 I didn't get the info and got snaked..

I really think the dlx, with 6 speed and bigger tank (and I dig the dual exhaust), would be a much better fit... However, I won't get the purchase price, if I sell my other bikes, and didn't want the debt..

As I can't get out for longer stuff, and it's more around town local bike. I should be good... Once the kids are old and I get out more, I'm sure I'll expand the stable again.

One of my favorite past experiences, was cafe' ing my old cb550...bucket fairing, rassk rear sets, seat.. However, a 20+ year old bike had some challenges.. I'm looking for the same exp, just without the mechanical headaches
