This morning I spent a few hours this morning to install a new Moriwaki 4-in-2 muffler. I didn't really like the OEM 4-in-1 chrome muffler and wanted something else.
I bought the kit at Samurider (see [url=https://www.samurider.com/?p=6547]this link): excellent service!! The English instructions were minimal but, together with the diagrams on the extensive Japanese manual, just enough to figure it all out.

Advantages:
- it looks much better - at least that is what I think. Others may [and will] disagree.
- it sounds better - no question about it. Only a little louder but much more grunt & bark.
- in theory the bike is better balanced with the same amount of weight on each side. In practice, I doubt if that is noticeable.

MAJOR disadvantage:
- I had to remove the center stand. I can live with that.

All in all, I am very happy!! Celebrate

P.S. I want to thank Houtman for his post on how to make a home-made O2-sensor removal tool: [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1779&highlight=tool]here.
Looks really good.
Wish I could hear it.
Thumbs Up for you/bike and John..
Nice work bioman. What about a photo of the left side of the bike?
That black exhaust looks VERY nice on your bike !!!

Thank you. I think the bike looks much more balanced with at least one pipe either side.
Did you add a powercommander? And a dyno run?

Looks awesome! I'm getting ready to throw the Moriwaki 4-1 on my CB sometime next month, can't wait Celebrate

Any tips for the job? Gaskets, bolt nuts, or any other parts needed? I think I will be wrapping the pipes on mine prior to install
The only thing you might need is fresh exhaust "cement /sealant " When my 4 into 4 came from Mr. T. the sealant was dried out and had to get some fresh cement from Autozone.
