I find the F800ST/F800GT to be one of the better looking bikes exhibiting current design standards. I love a well executed single sided swingarm with the fully exposed rear wheel, and BMW nailed it on this bike.

That setup reminds me a bit of my Hawk GT:


Any bike that makes me think of the Hawk gets a thumbs up from me.

Picked up the bike on Tuesday from the dealer in Louisville, Kentucky. Rode it to La Grange, Kentucky to meet up with my future son-in-law, to whom I had lent my 2012 CBR250R for the day.

I am running a tight schedule and need to head to an appointment right now, but I will return later with a brief ride report and riding impressions. The short version is: I love it!
